Newly renovated in 1998, the Kittanning Riverfront Park features pavilions, walkways, and scenic river views. A central feature is the Murtha Amphitheatre which seats 1,000 for musical and entertainment events. The newly installed docks and boat launches are widely regarded as one of the premier river accesses along the Allegheny River. Ample parking for visiting boaters is available.

The Ford City Park features an entertainment gazebo and pathways throughout. A bronze statue of John Baptiste Ford was dedicated in 1891 to commemorate his contributions to Ford City.
